We are now opening signups for two major IHC events, MUSICFEST and DRAMAFEST!

MUSICFEST (5 - 6 March)
All of you talented BBians out there who can compose, improvise, or play an(y) instrument(s), WE WANT YOU!Even if you don't do music, if you have an ear for music and can work lights, sounds and stage direction to the beat, we want you too! PS: Exotic and obscure instruments are extremely welcome too! sign up at the canteen walkway or reply to Joel Koh at noel123@gmail.com with your name, class, hp number, email, and instrument(s) played! Those interested in being part of the Musicfest crew, do sign up too!

DRAMAFEST (12 - 13 March)
Are you interested in lights, stage and action? Do you think you have a hidden talent in theatre? Or do you already have talent in theatre? THEN WE WANT YOU! Hello BBians!

IHC Aesthetics concluded with the closure of the last event, Dramafest (which BB got 3rd for).
As such, our great house, bucklebuckley, are now AESTHETICS CHAMPIONS!(:

Cliche as it may sound, thanks goes out to all of you out there who cared, who came down and participated, who check the blog religiously for ihc updates, and who wears the bb collarpin with pride(: Without you all these would not be possible.

But this doesn't mean we should simply bask in the glory of our victory. A House needs to be maintained - its spirit raised and its people involved. With the winding down of house activities for J2 cts, we hope all of you would not forget all the happy times shared with your housemates, and will continue to look forward to and support our upcoming initiatives(:

We promise to let BB be the most happening and exciting house ever in the history of RIJC, but to achieve that we need YOUR enthusiastic response(:

For now, just 3 things:
- cheer your hearts out tmr when Natalie will receive the championship trophy on behalf of the house,
- visit the blog often to check for updates and more exciting posts
- wear your collarpin to profess your love for our house!:D

IHC Statistics
(Done by louis during math tutorial)

• BB is the house with the least 5th-place finishes!
• BB is the house with the most Top 3 finishes!
• BB ties with BW as the house with the most IHC event wins (6 - Chinese Chess, Speakers' Week, Rangoli, French Connection, Writers' Guild and Music Fest).
• BB did really well in IHC events that required mass participation: 1st for Writers' Guild, 3rd for Photography, 3rd for Film!
• BB is the only house which currently has an A* grade (91 points!)

Hey BBians!

As all of you should already know we are currently IHC AESTHETICS CHAMPIONS!:D:D (for at least 7 days till Dramafest ><)

So when the new standings are announced on Monday do cheer your hearts out for your house!

In all, the past week has been absolutely fantastic for your house and your housed. We thank all those people who made this possible - ihc participants, handprinters, riBBons collector, bbq-ers, omggers, gogreeners, everyone.

You simply do not know how much your houseD is motivated when you click reply and send a 'thankyou' when you get your birthday emails, or when you put the bb photocard into your wallets straight away once you get it, cheer during morning announcements when the our gap from the ex-champion house narrows, or simply by wearing that collarpin of yours(:

It makes all the late nights, busted phone bills, mindless cutting and pasting, and 4/30 for your physics test(s) worthwhile(:

Now that we've made the once-impossible happen, thank you for being part of it.


Ignore the gush of emotions.. We just hope you enjoyed your last week!:D
