Hi everyone! Campaigning is now underway, I'm sure all you have seen all the posters and fixtures around school.
Once again, 15 BBians are in the campaigning process and they're divided into 5 campaigning teams:

There will be house speeches during assembly period this Wednesday at LT5. So go down, support your peers and take the opportunity to know more about them as well!
Voting is from 5th to 7th April (5th April is also the last day of campaigning), and each person has 10 votes. There are no house limits, i.e. you can vote for any 10 people out of all the campaigners.

Thanks for a really fun orientation, you guys were awesome :D Frankly speaking, as your OGLs, we're really proud, because you've all come a really long way since Day 1 of orientation :) We're really glad to see that a lot of you guys see each other not just as OGmates, but also as friends, and it's great to see you guys still spending time together regularly. So please continue to organise more OG outings and such or we will force you to like the cruel dictators we are, and we're also sorry that some of us don't go for your outings like filthy hypocrites :(
As the months pass, remember to enjoy your J1 life to the fullest, but when promos come remember to study hard or else you have to go through orientation AGAIN and that means more bad dancing pictures. D: But y'all have really really been an awesome (and also skanky skanky skanky ttm :O :O) OG, and we hope you all are having as much fun spending time with each other as we did OGLing you guys! :D And continue loving Gaga cos she's gonna rule the world! :)

it’s already been a while since orientation! hope you guys have been having fun in lectures and tutorials and cca and basically jc life! if you have been having fun, good for you because you have two years to enjoy it! if you don’t, then well, too bad ): you just gotta start liking it! (x
anyway, just wanted to say that we really had a VERY VERY VERY AWESOMEEEE TIME with you guys during orientation and all the other stuff!! it’s really been a fantastic experience being your ogls! although it’s quite tiring at times (due to the perpetual enthu-ness of you guys!) it was definitely worth the effort! (: we hope that you guys enjoyed orientation and remember all those times, like playing our trademark thumb game or gorging on delicious fries at burger king hahaha :D and of course for the guys, don’t forget your almost-once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of having girls chasing after you! (literally!) hope it wasn’t too traumatizing haha
but yeah really! must remember orientation okay! and more importantly, the GREAT OG-MATES YOU HAVE! we’re v v v glad that you guys have been very open to meeting new people, but remember it doesn’t end here! must must must continue to keep in touch with one another kay! as your ogls, we only have one wish: that BB’10 WILL LAST TILL FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER. don’t you dare disappoint us! >:D

Orientation ended like damn long ago and we miss you loads ): It was a fascinating journey for us OGLs, and hopefully you guys found it as interesting, fun and meaningful as we did! It was great to see you guys transit slowly (yeahhh, very slowly indeed. you guys sometimes quite stone xD. but we still love you, don't worry) from strangers to friends, and see all of you have so much fun during orientation! It was also heartening to see you all organize outings, etc and hopefully that will carry on for a long time to come!
As G'alvea slowly becomes just a distant memory, we hope that you will continue to stay bonded as an OG, meeting in the mornings and going for outings together! And don't forget your stellaharanhuiyao insurance (i.e. call us if you need advice, help or anything else)!

IHC Aesthetics 2010 - The End!
HELLOO!
The final event of IHC Aesthetics 2010, Dramafest, concluded on saturday! BB came in third for Dramafest! Great job to all BB cast and crew!
This brings us to the final standings after IHC Aesthetics 2010 (drumroll)....

BB -- 76
MR -- 76
HH -- 74
Below is a detailed breakdown for each event! Just FYI, Musicfest, Dramafest and Orientation are major events (15 points for 1st place, then 11, 8, 5, 2), while the rest of the events are all minor events (6 points for 1st place, then 4, 3, 2, 1)
IHC has been a fantastic 3 weeks, and BB House D would like to thank:
BB House Comm (especially Benjamin Yong!) for painting the banner and decorating the noticeboard :D
Every single BB-ian who has helped in one way or another, be it participating in any of the 21 events (that includes the whole J1 batch, who were awesome during orientation war games!), cheering the participants on, or showing support in whatever way! THANK YOU (:

Haha. Alright, that pretty much rounds up IHC Aesthetics 2010 (photos may be uploaded in the near future!), but there's still IHC Sports coming up in the later part of the year!
Of course, that does not mean that nothing will be happening till then. There will be the usual exciting BB stuff (Wasabi IHC issue! BB CIP!) lined up for you, so keep a lookout for blog updates, emails and posters around school!

Friday was MUSICFEST, and it was simply amazing! Following this year's theme, "Boomz", our very own Buckle Buckley Musicfest team, headed by Joel Koh, Gerald Sng, and Johnathan Ng, came up with a suitably sensational arrangement that left the audience at the edge of their seats! :D:D
Even though we emerged as overall 5th, it was great fun seeing all the BBMF people get high on stage and the audience going wild with BB's high-energy performance! Kudos to the bold, creative rockers of BBMF2010!

Hi!
Sorry for the lack of updates yesterday :O someone was busy mugging for chem test. But the mugging didn't really work.
Ok back to the point.

BB is currently third in the overall standings (: But there's still 2 major events, Musicfest and Dramafest coming up! And also runway, french connection, gavel and photo essay still to come!
MUSICFEST IS FROM 7-9PM TOMORROW AT THE PAC! Go down to support BB and watch performances from all 5 houses! Get ready for lots of boomz (boomz is the theme for this year's musicfest)!

RSN -- FIRST! :D
Ok that's like the only thing to announce for today. well RSN was super exciting, BB was actually behind by 100 points at the start of the buzzer round, but emerged victorious by 5 points! woohoo. It could have been more if the team (including this guy) did not get over enthu at easy astronomy questions. Getting over enthu is not a good thing, cauz it leads to crazy buzzer smashing which is not the most effective method of buzzing in.
This brilliant result now propels us to 2nd place, 5 points behind BW! gogogo for the rest of the events! :D:D

Hope everyone had a good break over the weekend!
Only one event for today -- Congkak. and BB was third! congratulations! :D which means that now BB is tied for second place on 33 points! woohoo! :D
On a side note, happy birthdays to Yutian and Ruolin! Yay. Yutian is 18 while Ruolin is 4 and a half! Happy birthday!
Tomorrow there will be the action-packed RSN Science quiz at LT2 from 4pm to 6pm, come down to support if you are free!
And remember to send in entries for photo essay!
