Hullo to all bbians! :)
Well, today was DAY ONE OF SCHOOL!

While the J2s resume their lessons already, our dearest oteamers work hard to welcome our new J1s! Here's a brief summary of what happened today, for the benefit of the J2s who wish to know about the happenings of orientation, for the J3s who might also want to know, and of course, for the J1s to relive their exciting experiences! :)

FIRST UP: Opening! The new principal's (very interesting) address to the J1s, Ocomm item! followed by introduction by the OICs, T'sparanza! "It means Hope, in a... certain language."

Next, we had STORYLINE! :)

Following which, icebreakers! BB OGs trooped down to our T'own and settled down in our T'averns! BB got the area outside the Raffles Room, and also just outside the General Office - quite a nice area :)

LUNCH! Some BB OGs went to familiarise themselves around the canteen area, while others decided to stay at their T'averns and order in pizza :) Opacks were collected and distributed during lunchtime as well, and the J1s got to see all the effort by their OGLs that went into nicely decorating the opacks! :)

After lunch was storyline continuation, following which, MY FIRST DAY@RJC! OGLs brought their OGLings around the school to different stations where different activities were carried out, such as the teaching of Rain Dance, the school anthem, school cheers, and most importantly, the House stations! :)

BB House D put up a simple performance for our dearest BB OGs during our House station, singing a song to introduce ourselves and the House to them! :) We truly hope everyone enjoyed the performance! Here's the lyrics of the song we sang, to the tune of It's All About You by Mcfly, just for your entertainment! :)

Besides the House stations, other stations of My First Day@RJC include games like Poison Ball, and form the Longest Line, where the OGs had tremendous fun! The pictures below speak a thousand words :)

Finally, the day comes to an end after we gather back in the MPH for roundup and closure to Day 1, where all the OGs put what they learnt during House stations to good use - cheering from all the Houses! SAY WOAH :)

But but but! As everyone is officially dismiseed, OGLs bring their OGs out for OG dinner for another round of fun, laughter and chitchat. Intra-OG bonding! :)

Finally finally, after which, everyone part ways and return home to rest and rejuvenate for the next day.

Thus, Day 1 of orientation comes to an end, but orientation has only just begun! More excitement awaits tomorrow, so STAY TUNED TO BUCKLEBUCKLEY.BLOGSPOT.COM for daily updates during orientation! :) We'll recap every night all the exciting happenings during the day :)
